Episode 104 - The Squamish Show
Welcome to the outstanding community of Squamish, British Columbia! This Weeks' episode takes a look at a number of ways to care for the environment. At Raven Timberworks sawmill, owner Ian Annett, impresses on us the importance of preserving the environment, from salvaging burnt wood to recycling used wood. His sawmill makes the best of what is already cut.
We also meet British Columbia artist, Thor Froslev, who makes bells from salvaged oxygen tanks, Daniella Hoesli, who makes organic paint from scratch and Claudia Annett who makes exquisite craft tiles. Of course, to do all of this, we need the right tools and working with wood requires the right saws. Johnathan picks the right saw for the specific job.
